Amb. Dr. Arikana Chihombori Quao on George Floyd Murder. Bring Africa’s children home.

Following the gruesome murder of George Floyd in cold blood by a Minneapolis, MN police officer, whose name we neither know nor wish to know and will not print, we here at The Briefscoop sat down with former Au Ambassador to the United States, Ambasador Dr. Arikana Chihombori Quao. Merely weeks after the senseless murder of Ahmaud Arbery, in Atlanta, Georgia, the horrific murder of Floyd has sparked a rage that seems to have been seething right below the surface. Dr. Quao spoke to The Briefscoop to issue an emotional message of condolences to the families of the two promising young men. Dr Quao wiped away tears as she called on African heads of state including Kings Mohammed VI of Morocco, King Mswati III of Swaziland, and the Asentehene of Ghana, Otumfuo Nana Osei Tutu II to issue decrees conferring universal citizenship rights in Africans for all of “Africa’s children”.

Dr. Quao on Racial Hatred, African Resilience & Resourcefulness

Dr. Chihombori Quao also issued her own private message on the gruesome murders issuing condolences as well as seeking to find answers to the difficult questions of racial hatred across America. She additionally pointed out that while racial violence has been wrought on Africans in America since the middle passage, Africans have not only survived but thrived. Dr. Quao called for unity, equality and justice in her powerful message seeking to make sense in this time of seeming senselessness.
