Most global maps misrepresent the true size of Africa which means that most people fail to recognize the true size of Africa.

In fact Africa occupies the same amount of space as the whole of the United States, China, India, Western Europe and The UK, Eastern Europe as well as Japan all combined with merely a fraction of the combined population of all these continents and countries. As such any talk of an over populated Africa is fiction. There is still plenty of room for population growth in Africa and in fact it should be encouraged, not discouraged.

There is absolutely strength in numbers. The reason why China and India are economic super powers is because of the sizes of their populations. While individual income rates may remind low in these countries for way too many people, the reality is that these economies are forever growing the income levels of their populations. Indeed, with enough political will, these countries can greatly improve the income levels of many of the low wage earners in these countries.
